This place is great. It's nicer in the dinning room than you might think based on the outside appearance and location of the building. My wife and I were greeted immediately and the service throughout our experience was very pleasant and welcoming. We set out to Perfect Diner with the goal of trying hot pot for the first time. We had done some online research and thought hot pot looked like something we would love, this presumption would turn out to be very accurate. I informed our server we had never had hot pot before, she was very helpful and informative. We chose the two broth option, spicy and pork bone. For our veggies we picked Chinese cabbage and potatoes. Meat options selected were beef, pork and sausage. We also tried the fish balls (which were perhaps my favorite flavor of the meal) All rounded out with egg (lo mein) noodles. We also had an appetizer of shrimp dumplings, they were soft and doughy but still had a good bite of real shrimp tail texture inside. We loved them. The spicy broth definitely spicy, I will ask them to tone it down for us next time. The flavor was dope; however, I couldn't take the burn for more than a few bites. They also parked a cart full of bowls, plates, sauces and utensils next to our booth so we could basically enjoy unlimited flavor options. There was easily enough food for three or four people. This was a great experience and we will definitely be back.

I recently discovered a hot pot place that absolutely blew me away--Perfect Diner--and I just have to recommend it to all my foodie friends! The first time I went, the aroma of the broth hit me as soon as I sat down, and everything was so fresh. Watching the ingredients cook in the bubbling pot was so satisfying--it's hard to put that feeling of anticipation into words. Then I picked up a perfectly cooked slice of meat, dipped it into the sauce, and took a bite. Instant happiness! It was so warm and comforting, I felt like all the cold of fall and winter just disappeared. For me, hot pot isn't just about eating--it's about the vibe. Sitting around the pot with friends, chatting, laughing, and watching the broth bubble away is just so wholesome. It's not just food; it's an experience. Here, I found the authentic flavors of home and a little ritual of joy that made me appreciate every bite. If you're a foodie like me, you have to give it a try! It's not just a meal--it's an experience that will leave you wanting to come back again and again. Trust me, this place will win your heart every single time!

the costumer service was subpar... we showed up, then we violently ate the food because it was that good. they laughed at how animalistic we were for the seafood boil, we were ravenous for the food. the moment the smell hit our noses we were animals. like dogs we tore apart this seafood boil & our table was a victim. it was so messy but so delicious. we looked upon our table in horror upon realizing the mess we made because we were so enthralled with masterpiece of the meal. we spent $200 that night but i would happily spend even more then that to come back for the first time again & experience this. the crab ragoons were also good.

This is one of our "to-go" places. We feel at home & welcome here. Not to mention great food and service! Try the crab rangoons, we have them with red chili sauce if you like spicy. Great lunch specials & boils! We want to try the hot pot sometime, everyone that has it seems to enjoy it while having a nice time. I think it is clean & calm with music in the background. This will always be one of our favorites.

Delicious. A little expensive but not too bad. The ambiance left a little to be desired. Not dirty just kinda blah. The hot pot I had was tasty.

My acupuncture Dr says this is excellent foods experience so here we are for testing. I have asked for a small portion hot pot, special build of spicy, shrimp, tofu, spinach, and a steamed pork dumpling. Hot tea for drink. Hot sour soup is real good. B approves. Is actually hers. Dumplings are best I've had. They are pork. My small portion hot pot...would easily feed 4 people! Amazing good. Absolutely 'The Best' Asian food ever that I have experienced. Blown away I am.

What I like about this place is its consistency. I know I'm getting a solid Asian meal every time. I go for quick takeout when the craving hits, I take a kid for a special outing and we do a sit down meal while we're out. Regardless of the situation, the food is always consistently good, serving size is right, service is pleasant.

One of our favorites, and one of our few regular stops. They know us well at this point and always automatically bring the little "extras" that we like. Very friendly servers. I can't speak on their "regular" Chinese entrees (though plenty of people are always eating them) as we always order from the Szechuan items which, as far as I know, are very authentic. Ma po tofu, chicken chili pot, haka eggplant, hot and sour soup are our go to-s, but everything else we've had has been great as well. We have yet to try a hot pot, which only speaks to how much we love our regular picks. Our 8 year old is (surprise!) a bit picky, and they even make her a custom dish based off of their moo goo Gai pan, which she loves. As far as the ambiance, it's nothing special, but nice enough. It's always clean, music is not too loud. My only negative: I can't stop eating when I damn well should. Recommend without reservation, especially if you're into some spicy Szechuan!
